Edelweiss Spirit 8.8 mm is a climbing rope with double approval: you can in fact use it as a single rope on a crag but also as a half rope for your multi-pitch routes.
It is extremely light and robust with a resistant sock and treated thanks to Everdry technology: this is a sort of waterproofing to the sock that makes sure that less moisture and dirt is absorbed.
This means that the life of the rope lengthens not a little and does not stiffen immediately.
It also has the Unicore patent: sock and core are sewn together and you will not have the problem of sliding the sock on the core once the rope ages. You will notice the very soft rope!
