Petzl Contact 9.8 dynamic climbing rope is an excellent compromise between lightness and strength. Contact is an extremely handy multi-purpose single. Thanks to its excellent grip, both rope maneuvers and the use of the devices are facilitated.
Among the treatments we have the EverFlex designed to stabilize the lines, make the rope more homogeneous and ensure excellent grip and constant handling over time. Then we have the ClimbReady winding designed to make the string ready for use.
To facilitate maneuvers, Contact is also supplied with Middle Mark.
UltraSonic Finish, on the other hand, is an ultrasonic finishing treatment and consists of joining the ends of the core and the sock. Thanks to this particular treatment you have a longer life of the rope and you do not risk breaking its ends.
